Principal

Mr. Haro is an experienced administrator who has served in several leadership positions within DUSD since joining the district in 2008. During this time he has gained the respect and trust of colleagues, parents, students and community members alike. Mr. Haro has a wide breadth of knowledge and proven ability to establish a collaborative school culture. As of 2016, he was the Associate Principal of Duarte High School. Among his key duties was overseeing curriculum and instruction including taking an instrumental role in leading the faculty through a successful WASC accreditation review.

Prior to this, he was the Principal of Mount Olive Innovation & Technology High School supervising all aspects of the instructional program at the continuation high school for two years. He also served as the Assistant Principal of Duarte High School from 2008-2014. Mr. Haro brings a great deal of expertise to his new role as the instructional leader of Duarte High School, and will continue to build on the positive momentum toward progressive reforms and a heightened focus on rigor that has been achieved in recent years at the school.
