About Us

Duarte High School believes in equipping learners with the 21st century learning skills: collaboration, creativity, communication and critical thinking. Offering a rigorous curriculum, establishing high expectations, and providing real-world experiences create an environment that challenges students to reach their full potential. Through partnerships with the City of Hope, the California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech), we offer our students experiential opportunities from world-renowned organizations. In accordance with the Duarte Unified School District vision, the school strives to prepare graduates for the ever-changing global economy. In addition, our mathematics and English Departments, in partnership with the Leadership and Learning Center, have embarked on creating interdisciplinary units and assessments aligned with CCSS based on the principles of Rigorous Curriculum Design (RCD).

The vision of Duarte High School is to provide a learning environment that fosters in students the ability to make
informed choices; to develop the ability to respond and adapt to change; to acquire an appreciation for learning as a life-long

Band On Going Fundraisers

Ongoing Fundraisers with Ralphs and Raise Right
Ralphs – Link your Ralphs Rewards account to the Duarte High School Band Boosters and a percentage of every purchase goes to supporting the DHS Band Program at zero cost to you.

Raise Right – If you purchase gift cards through Raise Right, up to 20% of the value of the card goes to support the DHS Band Program. Participating companies include Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Amazon, Starbucks, Panda Express, The Gap, Panera Bread, and many more.

Not sure what to have for dinner this coming Wednesday? Well you’re in luck, because on Wednesday, September 9th, you can dine out at Cabrera’s Mexican Cuisine on Huntington Dr. and the DHS Band Program will receive 25% of your total purchase (including alcohol). Please come out and enjoy some great Mexican food and support our band students.
