The 2024 LA Military Charitable Fund (LAMCF) Scholarship program for graduating high school seniors who are dependents of an active duty/retired Armed Forces member or Department of Defense civilian is accepting applications from Dec 1, 2023 through Feb 28, 2024.  You or eligible students can download the requirements and application at https://lamcf.weebly.com.  Last year, LAMCF awarded $28,500 in scholarships to seniors from California Connections Academy, Da Vinci Communications, El Segundo, Lake Elsinore, Mark Keppel, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Renaissance, and Villa Park High Schools.

Foothill Credit Union (Foothill) is dedicated towards helping schools and hospitals with all their financial needs. Foothill also continues to seek opportunities to give back to the community. This year we will be awarding $3,000 scholarships to select Money$mart and MoneyBound members who are pursuing a college education. Applicants must be entering either their freshman or sophomore year of college. If chosen, the award will be paid directly to the recipients by April 18, 2024.
