Student 1:1 Chromebook Program
At Duarte Unified School District, we support our tech-savvy 21st Century learning community by having one of the largest 1:1 laptop programs in the San Gabriel Valley. All students in Grades 6-12 are issued an HP chrome book laptop to be used both at school and home. Students have access to both their district Google Account as well as OneDrive storage, and each device has Absolute Computrace for data and device security. Every student in Grades K-5 has access to a classroom laptop to use for assignments and research. Other laptop carts, ipads and devices are available to share among the TK and Kinder classes at each site.
Purchasing the optional insurance is highly encouraged for all students in Grades 6-12, and is available through an outside company, Worth Ave Group. The deadline to purchase the $15 insurance for this year is September 30, 2019.
