Policies & Procedures

Computer Use
Our library computers may be utilized to complete/print assignments. Students must log in with their DUSD account. The computers are available to students before school, break, lunch, and after school. To utilize the computers or the library tables during class time, students must bring a signed pass from their teacher.

Books
Library books can be checked out for two weeks. Students are able to renew their library books if they are needed for a longer period of time.

Textbooks
A set of textbooks are available in the library for students to utilize and refer to. Students must sign the textbook out on our sign out sheet and return the textbook at the end of the period.

Food and Drinks
Please help keep our library clean, and finish any food and drinks before entering our library.

Chromebooks
Our library and media center is also a place where students can visit to address any chromebook issues. If a student's chromebook needs to be repaired, the student will be issued a loaner chromebook to use in the meantime. If a student has misplaced or lost their chromebook, they must report it to the Digital Media Specialist.

Chargers
A limited amount of chargers are available in the library for students to borrow. If checked out, library chargers must be returned at the end of the period so that other students may have the opportunity to utilize them.
