Academic Letter Award Program

Got a 3.5 GPA? On the percentile scale, 3.5 GPA is equal to 90% and considered as grade “A” which denotes excellence. Students who earned a weighted academic GPA of 3.5 or higher in 3 semesters qualify for an Academic Letter. 

 

To receive an academic letter, complete the application by the deadline.

 

Fall October 1 and Spring February 28th. 

(Note: Deadlines will be followed - no late applications will be accepted. The application process is intended to prepare the student for college and other future endeavors where deadlines must be met. Awards will NOT be credited if the proper paperwork is not filed on time)

 

To receive an academic letter, you must:

  • Complete the application 
  • Attach a copy of your transcript 
  • Be enrolled full time in four academic classes for the qualifying semesters. 
  • Earn an academic weighted GPA 3.5 or better for the 3 semesters of application. D/F grades disqualifies the semester.
